Александра Недзвецкая was born in St. Petersburg.

In 1999 finished the Academic lyceum at the Academy of Arts.

In 2006 finished the Academy of Arts, faculty of painting, portrait painting workshop of prof. V.V. Sokolov.

2006 to 2009 - postgraduate studies at the Department of Painting.

Since 2007 - a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

State scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture, RF 2012.

Winner of the Muses of St. Petersburg grant competition in 2008.

Laureate of the First International Christmas Ballet Festival, art competition "Nutcracker" - II degree diploma, 2006.

Diploma-recipient of the International Forum "Youth and Society - Meeting Each Other", LENEXPO, St. Petersburg, 2007.

Laureate of the Russian competition "Modern Academic drawing" - Diploma of the 1st degree, 2009.

Nel 1999 ha terminato il liceo accademico presso l'Accademia delle Arti.

Nel 2006 termina l'Accademia delle Belle Arti, facoltà di pittura, laboratorio di ritrattistica del prof. V.V. Sokolov.

Dal 2006 al 2009 - studi post-laurea presso il Dipartimento di Pittura.

Dal 2007 - membro dell'Unione degli artisti russi. Titolare di borsa di studio statale del Ministero della Cultura.

Lavely Miller, 1978

Lavely Miller paints portraits that narrate the effects of trauma, exploring visual cues that speak to loss, suffering, recovery and salvation.

Physically still, her figures exist in moments of emotional action, their frequently direct gazes challenge the viewer’s attention.

This sense of movement is translated through transparent layers of glazes, sometimes upward of 100 separate applications of color combining to create the final surface.

Gideon Börje (1891-1965)

Gustav Gideon Börje was a Swedish painter.

Gideon Börje studied at Tekniska skolan in Stockholm and worked gainfully for a few years, at the same time he conducted evening studies in croki at Wilhelmson's painting school.

He was persuaded by Eric Hallström to devote himself to painting seriously and the two then worked together for a time, including in a joint studio on Kungsholmen.

They also exhibited together in 1918 in Arturo Ciacelli's art gallery on Strandvägen in Stockholm.

Hanie Soltani, 1992

Born in Iran, Hanie Soltani is an representational figurative painter based in Tehran.

She earned an MFA in painting from Tehran University, faculty of fine arts.

She pursued her further training on her own, and taking part in many courses under supervision of contemporary figurative painters; Zoey Frank, Vincent Desiderio, and Alex Kanevsky.

Paul Schulenburg, 1957

After receiving a gold medal from the National Scholastic Art Awards in 1975, Paul attended Boston University School of Fine Arts.

Contrary to the trends of that time, Boston University provided an educational foundation that emphasized the fundamentals of classical art training: anatomy and form, color, composition and draftsmanship.

His professors included Joseph Ablow, David Aronson, and John Wilson.

He received his BFA degree in painting in 1979.

Mara Light, 1970

Mara Light was born in New York, and raised in Southern California from the age of three.

She comes from a family of visual artists.

"Painting seemed very natural to me since my early years growing up", says Mara.

She considers herself extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be around parents who look at the world in an artistic, visual way.

She was encouraged, and at times pushed, to make her very personal artistic expression part of her life.
