Καλλιόπη Ασαργιωτάκη was born in Ierapetra, Crete.

Shara Hughes was born in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Shara Hughes earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and later attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
