Eric Fischl, 1948 | Neo-Expressionist painter


Eric Fischl is an internationally acclaimed American🎨 painter and sculptor. His artwork is represented in many distinguished museums throughout the world and has been featured in over one thousand publications. His extraordinary achievements throughout his career have made him one of the most influential figurative painters of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Fischl was born in New York City and grew up in the suburbs of Long Island. He began his art education in Phoenix, Arizona where his parents had moved in 1967. He attended Phoenix College and earned his B.F.A. from the California Institute for the Arts in 1972.

Self-taught painter Marie-Claire Houmeau started to paint in 2002. She changed her career to devote herself to art.
At the beginning of 2003 she decided to devote herself totally to her art and to present her works to the public.

Burmese painter Myoe Kyaw was born in Yangon, Myanmar. He graduated from the State School of Fine Art Yangon and studied under U Thu Kha, U Mya Aye, and U Kyaw Lay. He has been exhibiting his work since 1987.
Myoe Kyaw's acrylic paintings are predominantly painted in cool tones. The strength of his brushwork in combination with his choice of colours produces a strong impression on his audience.

Arthur Hughes | Pre-Raphaelite painter


Arthur Hughes (1832-1915) was born in London. His best-known paintings are "April Love🎨" and "The Long Engagement", both of which depict troubled couples contemplating the transience of love and beauty.
He entered the School of Design, Somerset House, in 1846 and studied there under Alfred Stevens🎨. In 1847 he enrolled in the Antique Schools at the Royal Academy.

Polish painter🎨 Barbara Jaskiewicz was born in Wroclaw, the city in which she still lives today. She graduated from the Wroclaw University of Technology with a BA in Architecture.
She paints in oils and watercolor and she also draws. Her subject matter is wide ranging, beginning with landscapes inspired by the noble sceneries found in the south of France, wild Alpine meadows or the picturesque valleys of the Tatra Mountains. Gardens and park promenades scattered within the trees of ancient forests, landscapes of Silesian lowlands and of Lubelszczyzna (situated in SE-Poland) appear to an equal degree.
