Théo Van Rysselberghe and the Neo-impressionism

Théo (Théophile) van Rysselberghe (1862-1926) discovered the pointillist technique when he saw Georges Seurat's La Grande Jatte at the eighth impressionist exhibition in Paris in 1886.

Together with Henry Van de Velde, Georges Lemmen, Xavier Mellery, Willy Schlobach and Alfred William Finch and Anna Boch he "imported" this style to Belgium.

Seurat was invited to the next salon of Les XX in Brussels in 1887.

Giovanni Dalessi, 1964

His meaningful works are loved by a large audience.

Because he is able to put his own personal stamp on time-honored themes such as portrait, still life and landscape, he distinguishes himself from his colleagues.

Giovanni takes the subjects of his paintings from his immediate environment.

Nicole Anne Chew-Helbig, Singaporean painter, was born 1969 in Singapore. Currently working in Austria.

Trained as a Biochemist, and used to own businesses in the service industry in Singapore.

Now is a full-time artist.

Nik's art is impressionistic, acrylics on canvas.

Mostly figurative, with a spiritual/mystical theme.

Danhui Nai, Chinese painter, was born and raised in mainland China. As the child of a sculptor and a painter it is no small wonder that she showed an interest in art at an early age. After college, Danhui Nai moved to New York City where she worked as a textile designer. She studied at the Fashion institute of Technology at night and also took a summer course in French costume and interior design in Paris. She has a flower garden outside her studio and loves to paint in the garden when weather permits. Her antique roses and other flowers are among her favorite subjects.

Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os | Flower painter

Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os (1782-1861), Dutch painter**, was a 19th century flower painter from the Northern Netherlands. According to the RKD he was a son and pupil of the flower painter Jan van Os and a brother of the painters Pieter van Os and Maria Margaretha van Os (1779-1862).
In 1809 he won the first prize of the Society Felix Meritis in Amsterdam for a still life in which genre he later specialized. Van Os became Ridder in de orde van de Nederlandse Leeuw in 1812.

Ульяна Колесова is an award winning graphics designer, illustrator and digital photographer. She received a master's degree in fine art and design from the Moscow School of Applied Arts. She then began her career as a painter and her pieces were displayed and sold in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe. Since that time she has worked as a graphic designer, illustrator and art director for various companies in Moscow in both the advertising and publishing industries.
