Kurt Peiser | Genere painter

Kurt Peiser (Antwerp, 1887 - Uccle, 1962) was an Antwerp painter, draftsman and etcher of German origin.

His parents, both born in Glproteinz (Prussia) came from Charlottenburg (Berlin) to Antwerp in 1885, where his father, a famous chemist, found work as director of the sugar factory in Tienen.

Peiser took Belgian nationality when he turned 18.

He was a painter with great social and humanitarian concern.

Tina Figarelli is a realistic figurative artist originally from Chicago, IL.

She is currently residing in Raleigh, NC as an artist intern at East Oaks Studios.

Tina was first inspired by classical artists in the 19th century after a trip to the Art Institute of Chicago when she was 19.

Frustrated by the lack of formal classical art training in her schooling, she vowed to study the work she loved so dearly.

After studying at the Art Institute "G. Sello" in Udine, she attended a professional course of computer graphics at the Csg.lab Vocational Training Centre in Udine and dedicated immediately to her professional career.

As a result of short working experiences, she opened in Buja, in the province of Udine, her own studio - Ideando Pubblicità - operating in the commercial art field.

Scottish painter Jack Morrocco was born Edinburgh. He studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee 1970-1974.

During the summer of 1973, Jack was selected to study at Hospitalfield House, Arbroath under the tutelage of Peter Blake.

On graduation he achieved a highly commended post diploma, the highest award possible at that time, he was also awarded the Farquhar Reid Travelling Scholarship 1975.

The scholarship enabled his to leave Scotland and he headed for Paris and Florence to study and he began a European love affair.

Inspired by a painter father, Frédéric was interested from a very early age in drawing and painting.

He studied fine arts at the University of Aix-en-Provence.

After graduation, he moved to southern Spain where he discovered various crafts: leather work, silk painting, jewellery making…

By being in contact with these artisans he learned to make leather accessories (belts, bags) and experimented with cold enamel work (producing the same aesthetic effect as enamel, but without firing).
