Franco Gentilini (1909-1981)

Italian painter Franco Gentilini was born in 1909 in Faenza (RA), Italy. Worked as a ceramist in Faenza and collaborated with Giovanni Romagnoli and Giorgio Morandi in Bologna.
He took part in numerous editions of the Venice Biennale, beginning with the acceptance of his work for the 17th Esposizione Internazionale d’Arte della Città of Venice in 1930, when he also visited Paris.

Sebastian Krüger, 1963 | New Pop Art

Sebastian Krüger is a German painter and caricaturist.
His primary medium is acrylic paint, and his caricatures are hyper-realistic in detail, yet also extremely grotesque in their distortion.
The Times praised him for "capturing the essence of his subjects" in his renderings.
He is well known for his lifelike depictions of The Rolling Stones, in particular, Keith Richards.

Fernando Amorsolo | Pittore di genere

Fernando Amorsolo y Cueto, semplicemente noto come Fernando Amorsolo (Manila, 30 maggio 1892 - Manila, 24 aprile 1972) è stato un pittore Filippino, considerato uno dei protagonisti assoluti dello scenario artistico filippino del XX secolo.
Tra i pionieri della pittura nel Paese, assieme a Juan Luna e Fernando Zóbel, Amorsolo fu ritrattista e pittore di paesaggi rurali filippini, particolarmente noto per il suo tocco “artigianale” e la maestria nell'uso della luce e dell'ombra.
Nativo del quartiere di Paco, terminò i propri studi presso il Liceo de Manila Art School nel 1909.
