Peruvian painter Benito Cerna was born in Trujillo, Peru during the year 1960.

Self-taught painter, Cerna working on many projects of restoration of works of art and historical monuments. 2nd place silver medal SNBA the Carrousel du Louvre Paris, France 2009.

He participated in diverse projects at the temple of Trujillo-Peru where he restored works of art.

During this time, he started to paint his own masterpieces.

He studied at Madrid's Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando (Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando) in Madrid from around 1865. Here he established a friendship with Lorenzo Valles, a history painter.

Albert Lynch (Trujillo, 1851 - Monaco, 1912) was a Peruvian painter.
He settled in Paris, where he studied at l'École des Beaux-Arts. Lynch showed his artwork in the Salon in 1890 and 1892 and in the Exposition Universelle of 1900 during which he received a gold medal**. His work maintained the spirit of the Belle Époque.
