Arunas Rutkus (nato a Vilnius, Lituania) è uno di quei rari artisti che, avvertendo il ritmo della globalizzazione, si sono uniti alla scena artistica globale con grande fiducia.

Andrius Kovelinas (Surrealist painter, 1958)


Andrius Kovelinas is an Lithuanian artist, living in Poland. He received prizes in varroius competitions. In Lithuania, he ran his own art school. He lived in France and Ireland. From years of experience in oil painting. There are many exhibitions on his account. The main theme of his work are women.
Andrius Kovelinas has been living in Ireland for almost 6 years now. His extraordinary style and imagination has been on show at The Green Gallery shortly after he set foot on these shores.
For many years Andrius had travelled throughout Europe producing his masterly works everywhere he wen “I travelled a lot in Europe through Countries such as Sweden, France, Hungary, Lithuania, Spain. My sister lives in New York I go there two or three times a year and organise small private exhibition for collectors”. Before I moved to Ireland I was living In Northern France in the City of St. Michel.

Jonas Kunickas was born in Lithuania.
Have been studying architecture and got Master's degree of architecture in 2002.
For ten years used to work as an architect and interior designer in Lithuania and United Kingdom.
However, my biggest passion has always been painting.
In 2012 active painting superseded my previous occupation - now it‘s the only work I do for a living as well as for a pleasure.

Antonietta Raphaël | The Roman School

Antonietta Simonovna Raphaël Mafai (1895 - 5 September 1975) was an Italian sculptor and painter of Jewish heritage and Lithuanian birth, who founded the Scuola Romana (Roman School) movement together with her husband Mario Mafai.
She was an artist characterised by a profound anti-academic conviction, also affirmed by her sculptures which, especially after World War II, dominated her output.
They highlighted the tender and vibrant carnality present in stone, with works such as Miriam dormiente (Sleeping Miriam) and Nemesis.

Daiva Staškevičienė was born in Vilnius. In 1986 graduated from secondary school in Vilnius. 1993-1995 Daiva studied at Justinas Vienožinskas art school in Vilnius. In 1995 entered Vilnius Academy of Arts to study stenography, however after a year and a half once and for all she was attracted by graphic arts specialty. Daiva studied graphic arts leaded by professor Leonas Lagauskas.

Alfredas Jurevičius was born in 1959 in Telšiai. He studied at Stepas Žukas Art Technical School in Kaunas, later K. Preikšas Pedagogical Institute in Šiauliai and in 1991 entered Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. The artist joined the Lithuanian Artists' Association in 2003.
