Ilham Mirzayev Maharram was born in Nakhchivan, the Azerbaijan Republic.
  • 1980 - 1984 Studied at the State Arts School named Azim Azimzadeh.
  • 1984 - 1986 Served in the Soviet Army.
  • 1986 - Began creative work - painting.
  • 1989 - Member of the Artists’ Union of USSR / youth group.
  • 1991 - Member of the Artists’ Union of USSR / after disintegration of USSR in 1991 - Member of the Artists’ Union of Azerbaijan.
  • 1992 - Production Designer of Turkish playwright A. Nelsin "The letter from Takhtali village" / Nakhchivan State Drama Theatre.

Rauf Janibekov, 1956 | Figurative Abstract painter

Raouf Salim Janibekov - a modern Azerbaijani artist, born in Baku. He graduated from Azerbaijan State Medical Institute.
Being a surgeon by profession Dr. Rauf Janibekov is a self-taught artist. He had never attended any lessons of painting or drawing. He was keen on arts from an early age.
Mainly artist gives preference to oil painting and graphic drawings in pencil, however sometimes also is carried in digital art and photography.
Currently, some of the author's paintings and drawings are in private collections.
