Loïc Jouannigot, born in Brittany, France, is a children's book illustrator.

A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts, he has worked for the children's book and advertising industries.

From 1987 onwards, he became known more widely as an illustrator of children's literature, with the beginning of a long series of publications on "La famille Passiflore" ("Beechwood Bunny Tails") with texts by Geneviève Huriet.

This serie has been a real best-seller, being translated in 28 languages.

The books' success in France led to the debut of an animated version on the TF1 network in late December 2001, which would go on to have 52 episodes produced.

The show has aired in several markets worldwide, and released on DVD and VHS in North America.

As of 2008, more than thirty Beechwood books from Éditions Milan have sold over 750,000 copies in its native France.

Geneviève Huriet has written the entire series, save for the two most recent titles (Qu'as-tu fait, Mistouflet? and L'album photo des Passiflore) by Amélie Sarn.

Loïc Jouannigot has always been the illustrator including the latest book released in 2023.

His work has appeared also in the book Les Pataclous by Claude Clément
