Adolf Reich (1887-1963) was born in Salzburg, Austria.
He was a genre painter, who travelled throughout Europe, exhibiting in numerous places, including Vienna and Munich.
During the First World War he worked as a scenery painter at the Volkstheater in Vienna.



In 1916 he went to the Academy of Arts in Vienna where me made little friends because he disapproved of modern art and held on to neo-classicism.
In 1946, Reich returned to Salzburg to settle permanently.
Works by Reich are held by several museums throughout Europe.












Adolf Reich (1887-1963) è nato a Salisburgo, in Austria.
Fu un pittore di genere, che viaggiò in tutta Europa, esponendo in numerosi luoghi, tra cui Vienna e Monaco.
Durante la prima guerra mondiale lavorò come scenografo al Volkstheater di Vienna.


Nel 1916 andò all'Accademia delle Arti di Vienna dove mi fece pochi amici perché disapprovava l'arte moderna e si aggrappava al neoclassicismo.
Nel 1946 Reich tornò a Salisburgo per stabilirsi definitivamente.
Le opere di Reich sono conservate in diversi musei in tutta Europa.
