Nikita Busyak comes from Ukraine, the city of Kharkov, and it is this city that he depicts in his incredible illuminated architectural sketches.

In each architectural drawing, he digitally manipulates the windows so that they glow with golden light, making it seem as though someone is home.

Nikita is an inventor of Glowing Archisketch technique.

Each of these artworks are drawn on paper with pen and ink and the shining is drawn digitally.

Busyak's passion for sketching began at an early age, and he refined his skills by drawing the world around him.

But it wasn't until college that he developed an interest in digital art and what it could do for his practice.

"I had a desire to combine traditional pen and ink sketches with digital art.

Then, when I was playing with light and shadows in my sketches, I had an idea to bring the buildings to life by adding light in the windows".

Tuttavia, l’artista ha aggiunto un effetto ai suoi disegni, che li rende immediatamente speciali e particolari.

Questo effetto consiste nell'aggiungere luce alle finestre degli edifici e niente di più!

Grazie alla calda luce gialla, sembra che le sue opere non siano solo disegni, ma un mondo vivente separato, ed i suoi abitanti accendono le luci nelle loro case per svolgere le loro attività quotidiane.

È così che l'ingegno ed il corretto posizionamento delle luci li hanno resi più realistici ed affascinanti.

Tuttavia, il segreto delle sue opere luminose è semplice: dopo che Nikita Busyak ha terminato il suo schizzo, aggiunge loro l'elaborazione digitale, creando così un'imitazione di una fonte di luce fluorescente sconosciuta.
