Kesja Tabaczuk, 1989 | Figurative painter

Kesja Tabaczuk was born in Opole, Poland and is currently living in Oslo, Norway.
She started studying art as soon as she could.
At the age of 12, Kesja applied to a school of Art in her home city of Opole.
She passed the test of drawing and painting with full score at first try.
After 3 successful years she decided to continue studying art in "OSSP" high school in Opole.



She graduated high school winning first prize for the painting of the year.
At age 18, she successfully applied to the University of Art in Poland.
Although she was accepted, she decided to continue self education instead.

Her favorite painting medium are oil paints and her biggest inspiration are people, therefore her work is often a portraiture and figurative painting.
She is represented by the Ramfjord gallery in Oslo and the Arcadia Contemporary in NYC.














Kesja è nata a Opole, in Polonia ed attualmente vive a Oslo, in Norvegia.
Ha sempre amato disegnare e dipingere.
Fin da piccola è stata coinvolta in attività che avevano a che fare con l'Arte.
Nelle sue opere d'arte utilizza tecniche diverse, comprendendo che ogni dipinto richiede il proprio approccio e trattamento a seconda del messaggio che vuole esprimere allo spettatore.


Attraverso la sua arte vuole mostrare la bellezza delle persone e del mondo ed inviare un messaggio positivo.
Vede che c'è molta bellezza nel mondo e lavora duramente per esprimerla attraverso i suoi dipinti.
La sua più grande ispirazione sono le persone, quindi il suo lavoro è spesso un ritratto ed una pittura figurativa.


Il suo amore per il realismo è ampiamente visibile nei suoi dipinti attraverso le composizioni di linee, forme, valori, trame.
Negli ultimi due anni Kesja ha partecipato a due programmi di residenza per artisti presso la Galleri Ramjord.

È stata intervistata da John Dalton nel suo famoso podcast "Gently Does It" ed è entrata a far parte della collezione del museo al New Salem Museum in Massachusetts, USA. Entro la fine dell'anno parteciperà a una mostra collettiva all'Arcadia Contemporary di New York.
