Diana Malivani, 1976 | Impressionist painter

Diana Malivani was born in the USSR, in the city of Sukhumi (Republic of Abkhazia), in the family of teachers of physics and chemistry.

Graduated from N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University (1993-2001) in Saransk, she is a Doctor of Medicine by her training and profession (M.D., Ph.D), specialized in obstetrics and gynecology.

She acquired an extensive experience in sports medicine and dietology in fitness industry, with "World Class Club" in Moscow.

Also she is the author and illustrator of children’s books published in Russian, English, French and German.

After many years spent in France, she now lives with her family in Cyprus.

Her artworks appeared in prestigious exhibitions (London Art Biennale), were awarded at international art contests in London, Taiwan, Shanghai and Moscow, and published in art journals in the UK, US and Australia.

Malivani's paintings are offered for sale on leading online art marketplaces, listed by auction houses, and held in the collections of both National Museums and private collectors throughout the world.

Malivani’s art has deserved several critical essays by eminent British Art Critics Timothy Warrington and Christopher Rosewood, published by the ICAC - International Confederation of Art Critics (London).

Also the ICAC has published a Book dedicated to Malivani’s artistic oeuvre: "Diana Malivani. L'Art de Vivre".

Diana Malivani is part of the List of the Best Contemporary Russian Artists by ARTEEX, the art marketplace N°1 in Russia.

Diana Malivani was born on the coast of the Black Sea, bathed in the riotous profusion of the colours of the Caucasus.

Her love as a child for fairy tales and pictures later developed into a desire to convey, to those hearing and viewing her work, the great feeling for nature which enhances her life and the lives of those she loves.

Diana’s paintings reflect her soul, her love for music and nature, for an infinite variety of melodies and sounds, for shades and colours, for all that nature creates: the rustling of wet leaves and the first rays of dawn, the roar of the sea surf and the scent of a flowering meadow, the flight of screeching gulls and dewdrops on a blossoming rose...

As she draws flowers and depicts landscapes (the principal themes of her artwork), deals with marine subjects, creates abstract compositions, and transfers music to canvas (one of the Artist's main Art Projects bears the name "Seeing Music"), Diana strives to share these feelings with others, to share with others a part of her soul.

Diana Malivani è nata in URSS, nella città di Sukhumi (Repubblica di Abkhazia), in una famiglia di insegnanti di fisica e chimica.

Laureata presso N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University (1993-2001) a Saransk, è dottore in medicina per formazione e professione, specializzata in ostetricia e ginecologia.

Ha acquisito una vasta esperienza in medicina dello sport e dietologia nel settore del fitness, con "World Class Club" a Mosca.

Inoltre è autrice ed illustratrice di libri per bambini pubblicati in russo, inglese, francese e tedesco.

Dopo molti anni trascorsi in Francia, ora vive con la sua famiglia a Cipro.

Diana Malivani è nata sulla costa del Mar Nero, bagnata dalla sfrenata profusione dei colori del Caucaso.

Il suo amore da bambina per le fiabe e le immagini si è poi trasformato nel desiderio di trasmettere, a coloro che ascoltano e vedono il suo lavoro, il grande sentimento per la natura che migliora la sua vita e quella di coloro che ama.

I dipinti di Diana riflettono la sua anima, il suo amore per la musica e la natura, per un'infinita varietà di melodie e suoni, per sfumature e colori, per tutto ciò che la natura crea: il fruscio delle foglie bagnate e i primi raggi dell'alba, il fragore del mare la risacca e il profumo di un prato fiorito, il volo dei gabbiani stridenti e le gocce di rugiada su una rosa in fiore...

Mentre disegna fiori e dipinge paesaggi (i temi principali delle sue opere), affronta soggetti marini, crea composizioni astratte e trasferisce musica su tela (uno dei principali progetti artistici dell'artista porta il nome "Seeing Music"), Diana si sforza di condividere questi sentimenti con gli altri, di condividere con gli altri una parte della sua anima.
