Veronique du Boisrouvray | Pastelliste painter

Self-taught artist, Véronique du Boisrouvray draws for a long time for her own pleasure, in chalk or graphite, the faces of her children.
It is by chance, and late, that she discovers pastel, and with it, color.
This medium will truly revolutionize her work and become a passion that will never leave her.
In his painting priority is given to faces and their expressions.



She seeks to transcribe the natural personality of her models and to create emotion, by bringing softness and romanticism.
The play of shadows and lights, movement, the strength of a look, are all elements present to bring life and modernity to his works, while retaining the necessary part of mystery, to allow everyone to give free rein to his imagination and thus invent his own story.

She applied on a whim, and without believing it, at the Giverny International Pastel Exhibition organized by the Art du Pastel in France association in 2018.
The selection at this show will encourage her to continue along this path.
She participated in several international exhibitions in 2019 and 2020 and won her first prizes.
She is a member of the Société des Pastellistes de France association.























Artista autodidatta, Véronique du Boisrouvray disegna a lungo per il proprio piacere, in gesso o grafite, i volti dei suoi figli.
È per caso, e tardi, che scopre il pastello e, con esso, il colore.
Questo mezzo rivoluzionerà davvero il suo lavoro e diventerà una passione che non la abbandonerà mai.


Si è candidata per capriccio, e senza crederci, alla Giverny International Pastel Exhibition organizzata dall'associazione Art du Pastel in France nel 2018.
La selezione in questa mostra la incoraggerà a continuare su questa strada.
Ha partecipato a diverse mostre internazionali nel 2019 e nel 2020 e ha vinto i suoi primi premi.


È membro dell'associazione Société des Pastellistes de France.
Nella sua pittura la priorità è data ai volti ed alle loro espressioni.
Cerca di trascrivere la personalità naturale dei suoi modelli e di creare emozione, portando morbidezza e romanticismo.
Il gioco di ombre e luci, il movimento, la forza di uno sguardo, sono tutti elementi presenti per dare vita e modernità alle sue opere, pur conservando la necessaria parte di mistero, per permettere a tutti di dare libero sfogo alla sua immaginazione e inventare così la sua storia.
