Ewa Czarniecka, 1975 | Impressionist painter

Ewa Czarniecka is a Polish born Artist from the small South-Eastern village of Krasiczyn.

Naturally one of her early influences was the work of Bronislow Linke which she first discovered aged 13, when she would try and mimic his artwork to recreate the overwhelming feeling she felt to see it for the first time.

For years Ewa used pen and paper to express her thoughts, spending hours everyday writing in a journal.

When she started painting again as an adult, she discovered a clarity and an ability to articulate her ideas much more clearly.

Ewa finally had a medium where she could communicate all of the little details that she observed from the world around her, often focusing on that flicker of light, dappled shade or the pattern your eye can see but a camera would miss.

Ewas work lies somewhere between Abstract and Impressionism, gesturing at shapes and figures while capturing light and reflections with loose brush strokes.

Her work is often heavily textured with bright colours and demonstrates fantastic depth.

Ewa enjoys the creativity of playing with what people can see.

She strives to capture the feeling in that moment rather than the literal reality, for her this is a massively liberating and emotional experience.

Moving from Poland to London was a vital part of Ewas career as an artist, she found the perfect environment to sell her work.

On Bayswater Road in Hyde Park, every Sunday Artists would line the streets displaying their paintings for sale.

Eventually, as work became more popular, selling countrywide, she wanted to focus on her work without the distraction of Londons hustle and bustle, Ewa and her husband made the move to the Welsh Brecon Beacons, a much more relaxed and familiar surrounding.

Naturalmente una delle sue prime influenze è stata il lavoro di Bronislow Linke che ha scoperto per la prima volta all'età di 13 anni, quando cercava di imitare le sue opere d'arte per ricreare la sensazione travolgente che provava nel vederlo per la prima volta.

Per anni Ewa ha usato carta e penna per esprimere i suoi pensieri, trascorrendo ore ogni giorno a scrivere su un diario.

Quando ha ricominciato a dipingere da adulta, ha scoperto una chiarezza ed una capacità di articolare le sue idee molto più chiaramente.

Ewa aveva finalmente un mezzo in cui poteva comunicare tutti i piccoli dettagli che osservava dal mondo che la circondava, spesso concentrandosi su quel tremolio di luce, ombra screziata od il motivo che i tuoi occhi possono vedere ma che una fotocamera perderebbe.

Il lavoro di Ewa si trova da qualche parte tra l'astratto e l'impressionismo, gesticolando forme e figure, catturando luce e riflessi con pennellate sciolte.

Il suo lavoro è spesso fortemente strutturato con colori vivaci e dimostra una profondità fantastica.

Ad Ewa piace la creatività e giocare con ciò che le persone possono vedere.

Si sforza di catturare la sensazione in quel momento piuttosto che la realtà letterale, per lei questa è un'esperienza estremamente liberatoria ed emotiva.

Trasferirsi dalla Polonia a Londra è stata una parte vitale della carriera di Ewa come artista, perchè ha trovato l'ambiente perfetto per vendere il suo lavoro.

Su Bayswater Road ad Hyde Park, ogni domenica gli artisti fiancheggiavano le strade esponendo i loro dipinti in vendita.

Alla fine, poiché il lavoro è diventato più popolare, vendendo in tutto il paese, l'artista voleva concentrarsi sul suo lavoro senza la distrazione del trambusto di Londra, cosi insieme a suo marito si sono trasferiti ai Welsh Brecon Beacons, un ambiente molto più rilassato e familiare.
