Jaime Gubaton | Surrealist painter

Filipino painter Jaime Gubaton was already winning art contests as far back as he can remember, beating other kids twice his height and age.
Gubaton is a Fine Arts graduate with a major in Advertising from the University of the East Caloocan.


He would eventually compete and win in bigger and more prestigious national competitions such as the PLDT-DPC National Cover Art Contest, ArtPetron National Student Art Competition, Shell National Student Art Competition, Department of Agrarian Reform On-the Spot Painting Competition, and Metrobank Art and Design Excellence Painting Category.
His artistic philosophy has inspired him to create works that show a deep respect for Philippine culture and tradition, as well as his audience, whoever and whatever they are in life.

















Il pittore Filippino Jaime Gubaton ha vinto concorsi d'arte fin da quando può ricordare, battendo altri ragazzi che avevano il doppio della sua altezza ed età. Gubaton si è laureato in Belle Arti con specializzazione in Pubblicità presso l'Università dell'East Caloocan.
Ha vinto nei concorsi nazionali più grandi e prestigiosi come il PLDT-DPC National Cover Art Contest, ArtPetron National Student Art Competition, Shell National Student Art Competition, Department of Agrarian Reform On-the Spot Painting Competition e Metrobank Art and Design Excellence Painting Category.
La sua filosofia artistica lo ha ispirato a creare opere che mostrano un profondo rispetto per la cultura e la tradizione filippina, così come il suo pubblico, chiunque e qualunque cosa siano nella vita.
