Dutch artist🎨 Kieta Nuij was born in Heerlen in the south of the Netherlands. She is a graduate of the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts. She started working as an artist - she became a sculptor🎨 in 1984, just after graduating. Initially, she worked in clay, and now she has been creating bronze sculptures for over 25 years.
Characteristic for her art is the use of materials marked by the destructive effects of time - pieces of material, ropes, wood.


The artist is inspired by meeting with people and everything that they experience in life: joy and problems, beauty and hardship.
She first finishes her figures in detail, and then "dresses" them, which makes the character show his personality, the essence hidden in the interior.

The artist’s works have been presented at numerous exhibitions in Europe.
She lives and works in Druten in the Netherlands.
The artist says about her works: "My sculptures are not planned or designed in advance. They arise out of silence, as if waiting deep inside, until they are invited to perform during the creative process in the studio".



























Kieta Nuij è nata a Heerlen, nel sud dei Paesi Bassi. Si è laureata all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Maastricht. Ha iniziato a lavorare come artista - è diventata scultrice🎨 nel 1984, subito dopo la laurea. Inizialmente ha lavorato con l'argilla ed ora crea sculture in bronzo da oltre 25 anni.


Caratteristico per la sua arte è l'uso di materiali segnati dagli effetti distruttivi del tempo: pezzi di materiale, corde, legno. L'artista si ispira all'incontro con le persone e tutto ciò che vivono nella vita: gioia e problemi, bellezza e difficoltà.
Prima finisce le sue figure in dettaglio, quindi le "vesti", il che fa sì che il personaggio mostri la sua personalità, l'essenza nascosta all'interno. Le opere dell'artista sono state presentate in numerose mostre in Europa.
Vive e lavora a Druten nei Paesi Bassi.
L'artista dice delle sue opere: "Le mie sculture non sono pianificate o progettate in anticipo. Sorgono dal silenzio, attendono solo un invito per puoi nascere ed esibirsi durante il processo creativo in studio".
