Anne Dewailly, 1964 | Figurative painter

Anne Dewailly is a French artist, born in Roubaix, she lives and works in the North of France.

Self-taught, she never received any training but her painting reveals great precision and a certain technical expertise. She varies pictorial techniques, using paint brushes, palette knife, a rag but even her fingers to apply paint on canvas.

"My inspiration glows when looking at authentic people. Often women, close by or just down the street. Especially now that serious developments challenge us, young women, regardless race or color, are the sparks of my fire of passion to visualize serenity" - Anne Dewailly.

She represents gentle and emotional characters with great finesse and amazing realism. She depicts men, women and children with troubling and luminous beauty.

Exhibited in France and abroad in galleries, her work has been presented during major art contemporary fairs in U.S.A, U.K and Netherlands but also during exhibitions in France and abroad.

Anne Dewailly è un'artista Francese, nata a Roubaix, che vive e lavora nel nord della Francia.

Autodidatta, Dewailly non ha mai ricevuto alcuna formazione, ma la sua pittura rivela una grande precisione e una certa competenza tecnica. Varia le tecniche pittoriche, usando pennelli, spatola, uno straccio ma anche le sue dita per applicare la pittura su tela.

Lei rappresenta personaggi gentili ed emotivi con grande finezza e straordinario realismo. Dipinge uomini, donne e bambini con una bellezza inquietante e luminosa.

Esposto in Francia ed all'estero in gallerie, il suo lavoro è stato presentato durante le principali fiere artistiche contemporanee negli Stati Uniti, nei Paesi Bassi, ma anche durante mostre in Francia ed all'estero.
