Izumi Kogahara / 川原泉 is an Japanese painter🎨, born in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. In 2000 she obtained her artistic diploma from the University with honors.

Artist statement

"I would like to describe human beings’ original and complex inner mind with my own “words” (the way of presentation) by feeling energy from them.

Either they are objective way or abstract way, I continue to describe them with same belief".

"I believe that the human beings’ energy is generated not only from the instinct of living, but also from the feeling generated by communicating with others".

"Even if there are some negative elements such as the anguish or despair have come up from my works, I would not let them end with that.

I would like to express from all my pieces that there are silent but strong energy to step forward is definitely exist in human beings" - Izumi Kogahara.

Izumi Kogahara / 川 原 泉 è una pittrice Giapponese🎨, nata a Utsunomiya, nella prefettura di Tochigi, in Giappone.

Nel 2000 ha conseguito il diploma artistico presso l'Università con il massimo dei voti.

L'artista interpreta la sua arte:

"Vorrei descrivere la mente interiore originale e complessa degli esseri umani con le mie" parole "(la via della presentazione) sentendo energia da esse. O sono un modo oggettivo o un modo astratto, continuo a descriverli con la stessa convinzione. Credo che l'energia degli esseri umani sia generata non solo dallo istinto del vivere, ma anche dal  sentimento generato dalla comunicazione con gli altri".
