Spanish painter🎨 Jose Miguel Roman Frances was born in Alcoy, Alicante. At The age of fourteen he began to paint in the workshop of Gaspar Frances Rico.
Rico became more of a friend than a teacher, and his work influenced Frances' artistic formation.


Frances' work is characterized by its superb draftsmanship and the feeling of light that he manages to reflect in everything that inspires him.
His paintings are employed lavishly, with dense buildups in the floral groupings and the landscapes surrounding the female figures which are the core and focus from which all else radiates.
His work can be found in many important public and private collections in over 30 countries, including the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, The United Emirates, Japan, Mexico and Canada.
He has had more than 50 personal exhibitions and had participated in many collective exhibitions.
He has exhibited at El Greco🎨, the Gaudi and the Castellon 120 in Madrid, the Sala Gabernia and Segrelles in Valencia, the Sala Florins in Barcelona and Bandit in Malaga, among others.

























Jose Miguel Roman Frances, pittore Spagnolo, è nato ad Alcoy, Alicante. All'età di quattordici anni ha iniziato a dipingere nella bottega di Gaspar Frances Rico.
Rico è diventato più un amico che un insegnante e il suo lavoro ha influenzato la formazione artistica di Frances.
Il lavoro di Frances è caratterizzato dalla sua superba maestria e dalla sensazione di luce che riesce a riflettere in tutto ciò che lo ispira.
I suoi dipinti sono impiegati generosamente, con densi accumuli nei raggruppamenti floreali e nei paesaggi che circondano le figure femminili che sono il nucleo ed il fulcro da cui si irradia tutto il resto.
Il suo lavoro si trova in molte importanti collezioni pubbliche e private in oltre 30 paesi, tra cui Stati Uniti, Francia, Italia, Spagna, Germania, Gran Bretagna, Emirati Arabi Uniti, Giappone, Messico e Canada.
Ha realizzato più di 50 mostre personali e partecipato a numerose collettive.
Ha esposto, tra gli altri, ad El Greco, Gaudi e Castellon 120 a Madrid, Sala Gabernia e Segrelles a Valencia, Sala Florins a Barcellona e Bandit a Malaga.
