Lev Kaplan /Лев Каплан, 1967 | Magic Realism painter

Lev Kaplan was born 1967 in Lugansk, Ukraine. He spent a lot of years in Kiew, Ukraine, where he studied architecture. In 1992, he moved to Germany with his family. Today he lives in Stuttgart where he works at an advertising agency as an art director. He spends all of his leisure time painting and creating graphics as well as illustrating children's books.

Lev Kaplan è nato il 12 Maggio 1967 in Ucraina e ha trascorso molti anni a Kiev, dove ha studiato architettura. Nel 1992 si recò con la sua famiglia in Germania. Ora vive a Stoccarda, dove lavora come art director in un'agenzia di pubblicità. Tutto il suo tempo libero si dedica alla pittura e grafica. Attualmente Kaplan lavora come illustratore di libri per bambini.
