Il carattere sgradevole proviene dai tempi in cui le rudimentali fondamenta dei rapporti umani erano ancora da costruire, l'altro vive sul piano più alto di tali rapporti, il più lontano possibile dalla belva selvaggia che infuria e urla nei sotterranei, rinchiusa sotto le fondamenta della cultura".
